These are the photos of Melissa Jean that Instagram censored for considering them provocative

On August 1 the photographer Melissa Jean, which is dedicated to immortalizing moments related to motherhood (pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, motherhood, fatherhood, etc.) celebrated the beginning of World Breastfeeding Week with something I did not expect: receiving an Instagram message as they had closed their account as a way of censorship because the photos he published were provocative.

More than 800 photos that reflected his long-time work, what he is dedicated to, behind which there were friends, friends and clients who had hired their services and had exposed intimate moments to be captured and, in a way, ceded to show the world how beautiful, curious or magical it can be to give birth, be pregnant, take care of a baby or breastfeed. Provocative photos? Let's see some of them..

The news came in the worst possible way. He wanted to enter his Instagram account and a message warned him that it was not possible because had been eliminated for not following its rules. In addition, the message added "We cannot restore accounts that have been eliminated by such violations.".

He felt as if they were throwing a jug of cold water on him and he stayed a whole day doing nothing about it. In defiance, she saw that the hypocrisy of a world that allowed the display of the woman's body on a daily basis but not the vision of the bodies in the most natural and beautiful acts was overcoming, and consequently, she felt that the people who commented on their photos were criticized.

The next day he posted a status on Facebook explaining what had happened to him and he began to receive the support of his friends and a good number of people who admired his work and / or who had been immortalized by his camera and decided what had to be done something. I speak with the Daily Mail and other means to explain what had happened.

A few days later, specifically on day 6, the same newspaper made public that Instagram had restored the account and they apologized because, although total or partial nudity is not allowed, breastfeeding photographs are allowed.

They came to say that everything was a misunderstanding because every day they review millions of new photos and that, although they would like not to make mistakes, sometimes they do.

So in the end everything went a wrong decision (which motivated me to publish this photo above recently, I think with all the intention) that on the other hand it has helped Melissa to have a few more followers (it has gone from 18,000 to 30,000) and to us to know his precious work, worthy of being shared whether your Instagram is censored or not.
