Highlights in Babies and more: November 16-22

Today Monday, as every week, we bring you a summary with the highlights of the week, in these days when we leave the daytime heat behind to give way to the most typical cold of this era.

It has been a little strange days because of what has happened in France and continues to happen in other countries and as the news does not stop talking about it, children ask questions. Given this situation we have told you how to explain to children what terrorism is and the reverse situation, "No, my children do not know what happened in Paris."

In addition, we have known the story of a woman who thought about sending her baby carrier to the Syrian refugees and ended up going herself, with other moms, to take thousands of them.

This week has celebrated Premature Day and that is why we have told you about premature babies, those little great heroes. In addition, we are in Spain a little convulsed by the cases of whooping cough in babies, and it is that a second baby has died in a short time. Therefore, it is recommended to vaccinate all pregnant women against pertussis, but where is the vaccine ?.

Focusing now on the health of children, we have talked about the baby's urine: when it is normal and when it is not and we have told you that children with obesity at 8 years already show signs of heart disease.

If we talk about childbirth, a very simple advice: if you suffer constipation, make sure you have "pooped" before giving birth. And don't be scared, mom, if that day you see the father with a face while he is born and a very different one when he finally sees the baby.

Finally, in the section of Answers, this week we have asked you, what are the fears of future parents?, so that you give us your opinion about it.

We hope that this week the contents of Babies and more find them interesting, enjoyable and practical. We will work to make it happen.
