Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and one of those that should be eliminated is the violence exerted on women at the time of delivery. Is the call obstetric violence, which has been fought for a few years.
Childbirth is not from professionals, but of mothers and babies, and it is they and their partners who should have the full power to make decisions, being participants and protagonists and being informed and respected in their wishes and concerns.
