A mother has shared a video in which she appears wearing makeup while breastfeeding her baby, which has caused strong divided reactions. Was what the mother did right or wrong?
Facebook user Ivee Makaya is the mother of two girls, one of them is a baby she feeds with breast milk. Like many mothers, he usually does several things at the same time to take better advantage of the times. One of them, apparently, is doing other things while breastfeeding your baby, and recently we could see proof of it with a video that he posted on his Facebook profile.
Sharing it with a message that reads: "Making me quite efficient in this!", in the video we can see how Ivee puts on makeup while her baby is breastfeeding. What for her represents an achievement because it seems to have a well established breastfeeding, for some people it seems crazy.
The reactions in social networks have not been expected and most comments fall into one of two options: Either they applaud and support her for combining breastfeeding and continuing to take care of her, or they criticize her because she gives them the impression that she is irresponsible and careless because she is putting makeup almost on top of her baby.
In defense of the negative comments, Ivee responded as follows:
Makeup before going to an event alone with my two daughters does not make me irresponsible. I chose to feed my baby, who wants the breast almost 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, instead of leaving her lying down and disgusted. I am very sorry for those saying that I do not have a relationship with my baby, we spend a lot of time feeding our relationship, I spent countless hours attending to their needs because I do not believe in letting babies cry. If that makes me a bad mother before your eyes, no way. My babies have all the love and attention they need.
Some people also consider that it was unnecessary to take a video and upload it to social networks, while others applaud that it has done so, as it shows that motherhood is not fought to look good and it is important to continue taking care of ourselves.
