Crafts with children: forms of autumn leaves with dies

As I mentioned in the previous post, autumn is an ideal time of year to enjoy with the kids.

One of the activities I recommended you do is to collect autumn leaves, observe their shapes and their varied colors. But what to do with them? A beautiful craft you can do with the autumn leaves is to cut shapes with dies.

If you do not have dies at home, you can get some very original ones in some decoration stores or in large stationeries. There are some packs that come with various dies in different ways: heart, star, sun, leaf, etc ...

You just have to cut the sheets with the dies as if they were folios and you will get very varied shapes. The ideal is to get sheets of various shades, it will be more colorful.

Once the shapes are cut, you can use them to make greeting cards or decorate any object, such as a photo frame or a wooden tray. If you do, then you will have to varnish them.

A project that can be very beautiful is to make squares with the shapes that the kids have cut. First you have to make a collage by gluing the sheets on white or colored cards and then framing them. Ikea frames are a good option for this type of crafts.
