Chloe, the girl who asks to wear "mismatched socks" to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day

Chloe Lennon, is a five-year-old Scottish girl who has become a true viral phenomenon in recent days through the publication of a video where she makes a peculiar request.

The video has been published by his mother, Jade Lennon, on Facebook and already accumulates 20 million views in a week. As his Jade explains, Chloe recorded the video with the aim of ending stereotypes because it is heartbreaking "when people look at it and assume that it is not intelligent and that it is not capable."

She has told through her profile on Facebook, that days after the video was published, a pregnant woman contacted her to tell her story. They had just informed him that his baby had Down Syndrome, was desperate and did not know whether or not to continue the pregnancy. But seeing Chloe, with her emotional video, encouraged her to move on.

"It makes everything worthwhile. Exactly because we raise awareness," says Jade.
