Children under 3 years should not watch TV, according to psychologist

The psychologist is the British Dr. Aric Sigman, who suggests that Children under three years old shouldn't sit and watch TV and that they shouldn't even have gadgets in their rooms.

The specialist's words have set up the debate in the United Kingdom about the effect of TV on minors.

We have talked several times about how harmful it is for children to be sitting so many hours in front of the TV and also about the other end of the conflict; There is no quality content for the little ones.

I am not as sharp as Dr. Sigman, although I do agree that it is not convenient for them to have the appliances in their rooms.

I support that a good and fair dose of television a day is correct, provided that TV has something decent and educational to offer.

In fact it is shown that young children learn many things through TV when the format is indicated.

In response to the recommendations of the psychologist, from the campaign "Save the children's TV" (Save Kid's TV) ensure that it is unreal and unnecessary to ban television to children under three years.

Rather suggest that the solution is to join efforts in creating a television with quality content and instructing parents about the good use of TV.

I could not agree more.
