Breastfeeding rooms

The reality of lactation rooms, I think it is very good that they are available for those who want to use them, it should never be mandatory and in addition, it would be necessary to have regulations that would require them to be suitable places.

I have been searching if there is any specific regulation that indicates the conditions that they must have, without success. The truth is that there are moms who prefer to use them to breastfeed for privacy or to prevent the child from becoming too distracted. They are also used to heat the bottle or porridge and give it to the child. But are they suitable sites?

Many times they are next to public toilets. At least that of the mall next to my house leaves much to be desired. I would not go there to breastfeed there. It is a rather gloomy and unpleasant place. There are much better ones, of course.

You know what happens with public toilets, sometimes they are not completely deodorized and if someone has left the door open before the plague reaches the breastfeeding room. They are usually very small, and the one I have visited is tiny, a knife. There is no room other than for a mother and of course the seat is not comfortable at all.

When I sit down I almost give my elbow to the changing table, when in any children's center the hygiene zone cannot be next to the one where the children's food is prepared or provided. When you go to these rooms, whether to breastfeed or heat a bottle or porridge, there is no separation between the feeding area and the changing table. And it doesn't seem right.

Apart from my disagreement about breastfeeding being banned in public, do you find yourself with lactation rooms suitable for use if you would like to feed babies more calmly, either with the breast or with the bottle?
