Puppet Contest "How mental illness is expressed"

One of the biggest challenges of those affected by a mental illness and their families is to publicize their problem and achieve social acceptance and normalization of their situation.

That is why I found it interesting to realize this I Puppet Contest "How mental illness is expressed", in which any person diagnosed with mental illness can participate, or who has a family member diagnosed with this type of pathology.

The objective of this contest is to publicize the mental illness through the plastic experience of the patients themselves and their families.

It is convened by the AstraZenec Foundation, in collaboration with the Madrid Association of Friends and Family of Patients with Schizophrenia (AMAFE) and a group specialized in puppets and puppets that we have already talked about here, Titirimundi.

The best puppets will be shown at an exhibition in Madrid and Seville, during the IV Social Awareness Campaign on Mental Illness.

An interesting idea to integrate small (and older) with their creations or those of their families and approach the rest of society, especially children who appreciate these fabulous dolls that tell them so many different stories.
