Children's activities in the Mapfre Pavilion of the Madrid Book Fair

The Madrid Book Fair starts tomorrow May 28 and will run until June 13. As every year, The Mapfre Foundation is present at the Madrid Book Fair with its Children's Activities Pavilion aimed at children between 3 and 10 years.

The main purpose of this space dedicated to children is to encourage reading and highlight the importance of integration as a basic value of collective living and culture in general. The Pavilion has an extensive program of workshops and other activities related to literature, art, theater ...

Stories, puppets, drawings, games, crafts, hobbies and books in general will be the protagonists. In a permanent way and for children from 3 years old we will also have “The corner of reading”, where they can sit and read, play the stories and become familiar with them.

In "The pencil and the mouse" the little ones will be able to draw, color and make interactive games, and in the "Word Search" where children will become word conquerors.

The activities scheduled from Monday to Friday in the morning are aimed at schools and, the rest of the time, to the general public. The Mapfre Pavilion is open from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9:30 pm; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10:30 to 14:30 and from 17 to 21:30.

The Pavilion is adapted so that all children can access it without any impediment. In addition, there will be a Spanish sign language interpreter in different activities (indicated with an asterisk in the program).

The best thing is that all Children's activities of the Mapfre Pavilion at the Madrid Book Fair are free, and can be enjoyed as a family.
