"In defense of vaccines": Carlos González's new book

"How anti-vaccines cheat." This is the title of the first chapter of the new book by pediatrician Carlos González, entitled "In defense of vaccines".

For some time now, as we explained in the entry in which the same author spoke about vaccines, has proliferated in Spain (because in other countries there is a longer time) a kind of anti-vaccine movement backed by doctors and professionals the medicine that offer information on the internet and even published books whose tip of the pyramid are all those parents who, worried about the health of their children, decide not to vaccinate them.

Following this movement Carlos Gonzalez He decided, some time ago (I think that on more than one occasion we have commented that he was preparing a book on vaccines), publish a book with scientific rigor (as always) to dismantle the arguments of those people who claim that it is better not to vaccinate the children.

"In defense of vaccines"It will go on sale on January 25, within ten days, and only the mere announcement of its next commercialization is causing a lot of debate on the Internet among mothers who have decided not to vaccinate their children and those who have decided to do so.

As is the case with recent publications, the first chapter of the book can be read online and the truth is that, after reading it, I have been wanting more.

It glimpses back to Carlos Gonzalez as usual: incisive, ironic, entertaining, close in language but documented to make it a book backed by science but accessible to any father and mother.

As a father and nurse I will read it as soon as I can because it will surely serve me for both facets of my life.
