Parents, be prepared for what is coming, because (if you have not already done so) your children will definitely take over the iPad. Disney Mobile has had a great idea when creating Disney AppMATes, an application that allows to make compatible toys with the iPad.
The new line of toys has been launched by Cars, creating a real car that moves in a virtual world using the iPad as a race track.
The cars incorporate several connectors that activate the capacitive sheet of the iPad, as if it were touching with the fingers. The iPad screen recognizes it and reacts according to the movement and orientation of the car, creating the scenarios through which it moves, the road, the different roads and the obstacles that will have to be skipped.
The series consists of six toys that will be sold in boxes of two cars with the main protagonists of Cars 2 including Lightning McQueen, his best friend Mate, spy Finn McMissile and rookie Holley Shiftwell. Each box will be priced at $ 20 and will be sold starting October 1 in both Disney stores and the Apple Store itself. The game will be free.
Just watching the video demonstration that I put below will make many children's mouths (and their parents) water. It has blown my mind. And of course this is just the beginning because it opens the way to new interactive ways of playing, at the risk of charging the iPad.
Of course we must control its use, do not believe that all toys are compatible with the iPad screen.
