We are approaching the weekend and we want to propose an interesting and supportive plan for this upcoming holiday Saturday. Theodora Foundation offers the charity children's show "Emergency laughs" in Barcelona on Saturday, October 12, where smiles are insured.
The protagonists will be the authentic Smile Doctors who bring joy and relieve so many hospitalized children. The proceeds will go to visits that these hospital clowns make to children admitted to two hospitals in the province of Barcelona.
All the content of the show takes place around a giant medicine cabinet placed on stage. Each time it opens a magical world, full of fantasy, colors and small "pills" of happiness invade the theater, magic pills like those that reach many children in hospitals.
The mysterious first aid kit becomes different scenarios (a house, a kitchen, a boat ...). It is a very participatory show in which you interact with children and where they gain relevance, together with the small audience, mimicry, hand games and gags, accompanied by an original musical montage.
Recall that Theodora Foundation aims to contribute to humanize the stay of children and adolescents admitted to the 20 hospitals where they work in Spain. The Smile Doctors, are "hospital artists" who adapt their work (magicians, clowns, actors, storytellers ...) to the hospital environment.
The show is preceded by a successful premiere at the Circus Price Theater in Madrid, where more than 1,200 people enjoyed it. We hope it will be a success also in the city.
The charity concert "Emergency laughs" of Theodora Foundation It will be next Saturday, October 12 at the Axa Auditorium in Barcelona, at 5.30 p.m. Tickets cost 8 or 10 euros and can be purchased online.
