With an hour of your time and a little patience, you will only lack the heart shaped mold to prepare this cake so good, although mom sure likes it the same if you take it with a circular, square or made in any mold you find at home. Let's go to the kitchen!!
Ingredients for a cake about 22 cm in diameter
- 3 eggs, 100 g butter, 75 g of Nesquik or Colacao, 200 g of sugar, 200 g of flour, 1 yogurt, 1 envelope of Royal chemical yeast or similar
- 100 g of milk chocolate cover, paper and food marker for the sign
How to make a double chocolate cake for Mother's Day
We start beating the eggs well in a bowl. Then we incorporate the rest of the ingredients, taking into account that the butter we have to have melted for which we will give a touch in the microwave.
Then we mix well, making sure that the dough is spongy and we fill a pre-stamped mold so that the cake unmolds well. In this case one with a heart shape but it will still be delicious in any other mold you have.
Bake at 160º for 35 minutes, and let cool before decorating. To cover, we melt 100 g of milk chocolate in the microwave for one minute. We stir with a fork until the pips melt and spread them on the cake, letting them drip down the edges, which will give an even more appealing appearance.
We ended up making a sign with edible sugar paper and a food marker pen (They are sold in supermarkets in the pastry area) and we put up a sign for mom wishing her much love in her day.
