The fantastic Fuji Kindergarten nursery school: you will want to be a child again and live in Tokyo

The environment is the key to motivating the little ones. That is well known by Japanese architect Takaharu Tezuka, who has designed this fantastic kindergarten fuji kindergarten in Tachikawa, very close to Tokyo.

The trees grow in the middle of the classrooms and can be climbed, there are stairs to climb a huge oval-shaped terrace from which you descend by huge slides. Every child's dream!

There is no division of spaces, only a few piles of wooden drawers that serve as support tables and chairs, as well as game tools. They can be trains, blocks to build or whatever the imagination has.

But what do children have on their heads? As Japan is one of the countries with the greatest risk of earthquakes, the little ones are accustomed to do drills in which protectors are placed on their heads to avoid harming themselves.

The gaps between the trees and the terrace are protected by nets, which also serve to climb and play. For its part, the large terrace railing serves as the amphitheater in which children can see how their peers play in the courtyard below. It makes you want to be a child again and live in Tokyo, right?
