The parents of a baby with paralysis who only calms in her arms are looking for people to help her rock her.

As we have said on many occasions, social networks can be dangerous if they are given irresponsible use, but they can be wonderful when people tip over for a cause. One of these stories that deserve to be read (and for my part told) is that of little Olivia, who was born in a hospital in Brazil in a complicated birth that caused him to spend several minutes without breathing.

That time caused a cerebral palsy with which he will live the rest of his life, and also made him have to be admitted to the hospital for several weeks. So much time in the neonatal ICU made the girl suffer a lot now when she is not in her arms and the parents have decided not to release her; rock it as much as necessary and, for that, They have asked for help to help them have it in their arms.

Come dance with Olivia

The girl spent 48 days in the ICU, as the parents explain, with hardly any contact with them. Obviously, when they held her, the girl said that never again, that she did not want or deserve to be alone again, and every time they left her she cried and cried, inconsolably. They realized that rocking her, dancing with her, she stayed calm, felt safe. But despite being two, his father and mother, Fernando and Marilia, 24 hours are many to have it in both arms, more if we consider that after those 24 hours come 24 hours more.

They decided to ask their family and friends for help and they couldn't think of a better way than calling on Facebook entitled "Come dance with Olivia". Then the magic of social networks made the message reach more and more people and they are already more than 50 People who have gone to Olivia's house to dance with her.

And that's not all. Among messages of those interested in going to his house and those of support to the family are more than 1,000, in a response that has pleasantly surprised the girl's parents.

The arms are bearing fruit

Those who do not just find out how important it is to take babies in their arms say that it is better not to take them too much because they get used to it and then it is impossible to ever let them go. Olivia, she alone, so small, has completely overthrown that theory.

She was alone for weeks. That should have made her a very independent girl, or perfectly capable of living without being caught and yet the opposite happened: As soon as they held her, she said that was what she needed..

Now, after a while in the arms of her parents, and in those of the people who have gone home to rock her, Olivia begins to feel more safe, safer, more confident, and Begins to agree to be some time without being rocked; Just yesterday, his father hung this photo as proof of this:

Along with the photo, he explained that Olivia is amazing, increasingly calm, and that it must be, sure, Fruit of love You have received so far.

Hopefully they continue to be so successful in the call (apparently they have so many people who have decided to space visits to alternate days, so as not to overwhelm the girl excessively) and, above all, that Olivia respond every day more and better to both love and love of acquaintances and strangers. It was difficult for her to be born, and her life will be difficult, but with such a family and so many committed people around her, she will surely have it a little easier. Bravo!
