Recipes for the whole family: Christmas snacks, rice dishes, stuffed chicken breasts and more delicious stuff

How are you doing appetite? Lunchtime is approaching and today as every week and we put on the apron to get into the kitchen and prepare delicious recipes for the whole family. Because we love to renew the menus and that the kids get used to trying new dishes.

We bring you the best recipes of our companions of Direct to the Palate and Vitónica with which you can prepare varied and healthy dishes and in which Christmas already appears. Today in our selection we highlight appetizing dishes of appetizers, vegetables, main dishes and desserts and sweets for the sweet tooth. Bon Appetite!

Christmas snacks and vegetables

  • Christmas appetizer recipes, where there is no lack of canapés, skewers, seafood, meat and Christmas snacks for children (top photo), like homemade chicken nuggets or spaghetti and cheese nests ... To suck your fingers!

Main dishes for the whole family

  • Persian style chicken (cover photo). Are the traditional chicken kids fed up? This is an ideal recipe to give an original touch to the chicken, with natural tomato, spices and nuts and that can be accompanied by long grain rice.

  • Rice with Iberian pen and mushrooms, a recipe in which the Iberian pork pen can be substituted using other cuts of the Iberian pig such as prey or sirloin. A rice of intense flavor that incorporates tomato and mushrooms.

  • Breasts stuffed with ham and baked cheese (top photo), a delicious way to give a different touch to chicken or turkey breasts and to which we can add other ingredients that we like, such as serrano ham and red peppers ...

  • Beef flamenquines, cooked ham and gorgonzola, another original way to make a meat dish, easy to prepare, rich and juicy.

  • Skewers of pesto salmon, my favorite fish, a delicious source of omega-3, with an Italian sauce although with a different touch, since the pesto is made with spinach, parsley and nuts.

  • Quinoa soup with beans and carrots, an appetizing warm dish now that the cold arrives and healthy, complete and satiating.

Desserts and sweets

  • Homemade donuts of a lifetime, a traditional recipe of Spanish cuisine, perfect for a snack or for breakfast, accompanying the glass of milk.

  • Goxua: Basque dessert recipe, simple and traditional. It can be served in individual bowls as if they were custard or curd or in the form of cake and then divided into portions. They will want to repeat!

  • Marbled Chocolate Bundt Cake with jam (photo above), a recipe for the past International Bundt Cake Day, which is a cake originally from the United States and easy to make.
