When our child is in the car, it is our responsibility to have the seat belt worn, a short or usual ride does not imply that there is no danger. The figures indicate that parents suspend in road safety, according to a survey of children, 7 out of 10 do not go in the child seat when their parents take them to school. But in addition the parents also sin, since up to 40% of them do not wear the belt.
We all know that he leads by example and we must start by ourselves to apply the road safety rules so that children become aware of the importance of using the belt.
The survey was conducted by the Racc (Real Automobile Club of Catalonia) and the Jané Group. 600 were the children surveyed, between the ages of 6 and 12 who usually go to school by car. No doubt the figures show the little awareness that many parents have regarding the danger of not wearing a seat belt. Usually they are the routes through the city where we live where the belt is used less, the causes are obvious, the speed is slower and the confidence of the usual route.
The safety of our children is very important and we should never let our guard down, trust is something we should put aside when it comes to the health and life of our child, especially in something that does not depend solely on us.
