Enjoy with the baby in the pool

Kids love water, and summer is the ideal time of year for enjoy fun days at the pool with our baby.

Through the water you can stimulate your baby with games and practice exercises to strengthen your muscles.

If it is your baby's first contact with water you must be very cautious and give him confidence before diving into the pool. You have to have a little touch in this regard and go wetting it little by little so that it does not panic.

The most important thing is that the baby feels comfortable and safe with the person who is with him in the water. When he trusts he feels protected and knows that nothing can happen to him. That way, we will avoid being afraid of water. At the beginning we will not put the baby's head under the water, but you can wet it with a watering can or with your hands so that it feels like “a rain” that falls on your face. This will get used to it.

Once the child feels safe, you can give him a little more freedom, but never take your eyes off him. Just like if you put it on a float, don't stop looking at it because it could slip through the hole or turn around.

As for the exercises, if the baby walks, we can take him by the hand to take a walk through the pool (for the short part or the stairs) to strengthen the muscles of the legs.

On the other hand if it still does not stand, you can put it upside down by holding it from the chest and between the legs. The baby will try to move the legs and at the same time will be strengthening the muscles of the back and chest.

When the session of games and exercises is over, take the baby out of the pool and dry it immediately with a towel. It will be cool and sure that at night he sleeps like a king.
