15 minutes a day of physical activity against childhood obesity

The diet of children is very important to prevent them from being overweight, but physical exercise is also decisive when it comes to preventing obesity.

In fact, sedentary lifestyle is to blame for childhood obesity, equal to or more than poor diet.

A study developed by British and American researchers ensures that children who practice moderate or intense physical activity for only 15 minutes are less likely to suffer from obesity than the inactive.

It is only a quarter of an hour a day doing some activity such as running behind a ball, jumping, cycling or any other children's activity that physically exercises them to help them maintain an adequate weight.

According to experts, it is the first study that provides strong evidence about the link between physical activity and childhood obesity.

Following the advice of researchers we can adapt small daily routines for the child to practice some physical activity.

For example, going to look for the child in school so that he can walk back or 15 minutes (which is nothing) of games in a square or park can be much more important for the health of our children than we can imagine.

Just yesterday we talked about changing our habits to have healthier children, and physical exercise is a custom that we must adopt in our lives and theirs, they are only 15 minutes a day.
