The child population will suffer in the coming years a high increase in obesity

Two studies, one American and one from Denmark, reveal surprising conclusions that should motivate the governments of both countries to take appropriate measures. According to these studies, the child population will suffer in the coming years a high increase in obesity and consequently, all the diseases that are associated with it.

According to experts, future generations are destined to suffer more diseases and be more obese than their parents. On several occasions we have shown the relationship between overweight and obesity and various diseases such as diabetes, heart problems, etc., the Danish study verifies the close relationship between heart problems and obesity by offering statistical data of 46 years. The risks of suffering heart problems increase with being overweight, this is the data provided by Danish researchers. On the other hand, the American study reveals that up to 9 million Americans are obese and estimates show that in about 10 years this figure can increase up to 37%, which would indicate that it would increase childhood obesity.

It is clear that the current child population seems to be doomed to suffer various health problems worsening their quality of life, the solution is simple, however, it seems that it is very difficult to apply, at least this is reflected in the statistics. If more drastic measures are not taken with regard to infant feeding, children will be condemned to suffer a worse quality of life and life expectancy may be reduced, something that no parent would want for their child.
