A book about childbirth to help us choose

Those who read my articles about childbirth, may see that above all things I defend the right of women to choose the way they want to give birth to their baby, excluding caesarean section that I do not consider an option but a necessity.

To be able to choose it is essential to be informed, so the book I present today seems to me a great help to be able to make an informed decision.

Yesterday a new book on childbirth called Guide of the conscious woman for a better birth, written by Henci Goer.

The author writes some words with which I fully agree and I am sure that many women will have happened. He says on the back cover of the book: "My goal is that you never have a chance to say, last bull" Oh, if I had known that you could choose! " or "I would never have accepted if I had known what could happen."

This should not be so, to remain in ignorance leads to uninformed birth and we are exposed to live an unpleasant experience as we have seen in the video where some mothers talk about their unrespected births.

To prevent other mothers from happening the same and that nothing they are not able to handle ruins the great moment of giving birth, one of the most important milestones in a woman's life (if not the most), I recommend reading of this 344-page book that will surely shed light on the issues that most concern childbirth.

The index includes topics such as: the caesarean epidemic, labor induction, artificial rupture of the bag, repeat caesarean section, monitoring and professional accompaniment during labor.

The book has been edited by Ob Stare and its price is 34.60 euros.
