Thousands of mothers gathered yesterday October 5 in many Spanish cities to celebrate the Breastfeeding Day. In the photo I show you an image of Valencian mothers and their children.
Public "tetadas" have become one of the most representative acts of this day, in which women want to make the lactation a normal and habitual fact in all the surroundings. Raising awareness about the importance of breastfeeding, informing people who are approaching and bringing the claims of support groups to the media is an activity of great importance.
Year after year the number of mothers increases in these concentrations, holidays and claims. This year they have gathered, convened by FEDALMA, in all these cities:
