Space Place, NASA website for future astronauts

Space Place is the page of NASA in Spanish, aimed at children who are interested in the world of space, astronomy, but above all they want to learn and have fun. It contains games, animations, projects and a compilation of amazing facts about Earth, space, and technology.

What is a supernova? And a black hole? What drives a comet? Can you fly through the gaseous planets? Why does the Earth rotate? Which is the brightest star? Undoubtedly some of these questions are asked by a lot of curious children, but if many questions of this type are especially repeated, this website is the ideal place for children to continue learning.

Also, let's not fool ourselves, it is often difficult for us to answer many of these questions with certainty ... so it will be good for our parents to accompany our children in this space adventure from home.

There is a sound file with answers from specialists to many questions asked by future space men and women, in addition to very interesting games with crosswords, puzzles, drawings, riddles ...

It is worth stopping at some of the multiple games, such as "Which is the oldest?", Where you have to guess the age of several drawings or photographs (people, phones, airplanes ...). Or the "Spuzzled", a puzzle with images of the Earth taken from space, images that look like another planet ...

I also liked the coloring section on-line, with many options of drawings that can also be printed, or the "Funny Themes". And the section "Amazing facts", where to discover from how a hurricane is formed to diverse curiosities, for example, how to score a goal from Earth to the Moon.

In short, this page has seemed great to satisfy the curiosity of the smallest of the house, with scientific explanations but adapted to them and with games so that they are discovering that science can also be fun.
