"Goodbye stork." A book about the pleasure of giving birth

In Babies and more, we regularly talk about the experiences of women who have given birth and the recommendations of the World Health Organization regarding childbirth and breastfeeding, as well as the necessary changes that are taking place in society and medical practice in Spain. The book that I bring you today, "Goodbye Stork", by Soledad Galán, talks about all that and more, about the possibility of living the childbirth as a pleasant experience.

Normal delivery, provided there are no complications, is a healthy fact that is part of our existence as females of a mammalian genus and for which our bodies are prepared.

However, with the arrival of techniques that help protect mothers and children from possible problems, excessive medicalization of birth has also come, depriving him of the healthy and joyful appearance he may have in normal circumstances.

"Goodbye Stork" He talks about this, from the point of view of personal experiences and with the indisputable scientific basis of the recommendations of the World Health Organization. All this dotted with humorous notes that reveal that the safety of the paritorios is not always as they present it to us.

And it completes it with an enormously revealing background, childbirth is an experience that is part of our sexual life and, as such, is an act full of pleasure and vitality.

"Goodbye Stork" It has been published recently by Editorial Algaida and will be officially presented at the Seville Book Fair.
