In the days of ENCA of which I have already spoken to you, this beautiful video was presented as a closing in which children explain what a midwife is for them.
The video was made by the mothers of the association El Parto es Nuestro, convener of the conference in Madrid this year and the children, some of whom I have seen growing up, it shows that they are well informed.
The naturalness, spontaneity and sympathy of the little ones is undeniable. The truth is that I get excited when I see him again, especially that little blonde who says "tetita, tetita, tetita" or the funny little boys who look for the best words to explain how babies want to be born. I have seen some of them grow up, so I get excited twice.
They have it clear, the midwives they help moms but they are the ones who give birth, and babies want to be born happily and naturally. Some of the little ones who speak were born by caesarean section and tell it. Others tell us how mom screams to guide the baby at birth. And is that babies decide when they want to leave.
