Babyglow: garment that changes color according to the baby's temperature

Today we talk about an invention the less curious, I do not know if it will be too useful but it attracts attention ... It is a very special pajamas, the Babyglow, whose main feature is that it changes color if the child's temperature also does. It is intended for babies up to 24 months.

Will this invention replace thermometers? I doubt it… The invention is by Chris Ebejer, a 42-year-old Brit who has just signed a juicy contract thanks to Babyglow. The inventor had been working on the model for six years, which will finally be released in October this year in the United Kingdom.

The fabric of this monkey contains heat-sensitive pigments and is made with cotton that fits the baby's body, so they say that if it strikes a stoner the tissue will also do it with him. Although knowing how to shrink the clothes with the washes I doubt I can stretch much the life of this garment ...

In principle it is planned to manufacture 900,000 units of this garment and market it worldwide to a price that will be around 23.50 euros. There will be models in three colors: pink, blue and green, which will turn white if the baby's body temperature exceeds 37 degrees.

We had already seen a curious pacifier with thermometer, or an intercom that also incorporates a thermometer, but that the thermometer is the pajamas itself does not give me much confidence. More than anything because it is not reliable, we will not know the exact temperature or we can rely on the sun or some source of heat because it would change color equally without the baby necessarily having a fever, giving "false positives" ...
