Bayard Magazines, for the whole family

Our blog brother Peques and more recommend us some Very interesting children's magazines, Bayard Magazines. As we know, the early approach to books and magazines is beneficial for the development of children, and the basis is laid for, hopefully, forming a future lover of reading.

That's why I find this proposal of magazines specifically designed for boys and girls from the year of age interesting. There are editions in Spanish, and some also in Catalan. The most childish is the magazine "Popi", from one year.

For kids from 4 years old we have the magazines "Caracola" and "Cucafera", the latter in Catalan. I have been leafing through the magazines (you can see them from their website) and their contents and illustrations have seemed great, very appropriate for children of these ages.

Magazines are available by subscription and are usually in children's libraries. If they are not in your library, you can try to get them, sometimes there is luck (and budget) and accept new additions to the magazine catalog.

The magazines have some fixed characters with whom the kids can get acquainted, such as the Brown Bear, the little Miguel or the funny superhero SamSam, of which we have already spoken to you.

There are cartoons, stories, pages with cut-outs, drop-down and readings of scientific dissemination for the elderly, apart from games for everyone. So that reading these Bayard children's magazines becomes very enjoyable, and kids have fun while expanding their vocabulary and learn from many other interesting topics.
