Cuttable Snowflakes

For children to decorate the house according to these icy days I propose a beautiful craft to do with them: some snowflakes to cut on paper.

Simply, with scissors and eight templates to print in different ways (you have to see what a snowflake gives) we can make beautiful ornaments to place throughout the house.

What you have to do is download each template from the KinderArt website and print it on the paper of your choice (it can be cardboard, metallic paper, colored paper, etc.). All are cut in a circle, then folded by the marked lines and when a triangle is left, the shapes marked in gray are cut.

Once we have finished trimming, we unfold the paper and it came back! ... we have our snowflake.

Younger children will need help trimming, but for those who already dominate the scissors it will be fun to discover the different ways.

Once finished, the flakes can be decorated with markers, colored pencils, glitter, etc. If you want to hang them, you just have to place a thread, but they can be glued on windows or they are also ideal as templates to decorate the windows with spray snow.

I hope you like it!
