The baby of a couple who dedicated time to their virtual baby dies

A few days ago an acquaintance asked me if I did not believe that some couples should be denied the possibility of being parents and I replied that it seemed too dangerous a premise, however, reading news like the one I bring you today, one begins to doubt .

A couple has been arrested in South Korea this week for the death of his daughter, three months old, which they fed only once a day in twelve-hour shifts.

Apparently the parents did not take care of their daughter because they were "busy" playing at the computer, in a cafe in the neighborhood where they live, to a game in which, surprisingly, they had to take care of a virtual baby.

The couple had no job, and a city police officer said that “They gave themselves up to a virtual game to create and develop a virtual character and thus escape from reality, which led them to make their real daughter die”.

The girl had been born prematurely with a weight of 2,250 kg. Three months later, when the girl died, she weighed only 2,500 kg.

I wish I was wrong, but I have the feeling that people have less and less humanity, less paternal instinct and more emotional and mental problems. I repeat, I wish I was wrong.
