'Discover new signs', a new sign language dictionary for children

Discover new signs is a new sign language dictionary for children which has just been presented by the CNSE Foundation and the Carrefour Solidarity Foundation.

It is a bilingual dictionary, Spanish sign language - Spanish language that aims to teach the richness of sign language to children between 3 and 8 years, both deaf and listeners, so that they are able to communicate through gestures and the use of hands.

This second edition expands the vocabulary of the first installment of the dictionary 'My First Signs' and the most remarkable thing is that being intended for children is a very visual book full of illustrations and photographs with simple definitions and easy to understand examples.

Through their pages children will discover what they mean, how they are written, how they are meant and when each word is used. In addition, to make its use more dynamic, a character has been created, the cat Augusto, who hides in each illustration and asks specific questions about each page.

It is interesting (and necessary) that dictionaries be edited as Discover new signs as well as more educational material for deaf or hard of hearing children. Also so that the hearing children can know the language and communicate better with these children and thus advance their integration.

The price of the dictionary is 23.50 euros.
