Participate in children's school activities

A week ago I participated in an activity that I loved, and that's why I recommend it. In my daughter's class The teacher invites parents to participate in the classroom with their contributions, related to the theme of the quarter, going to school.

In our case, the theme was "The stories", so during the whole quarter we have had a lot of material to elaborate with my daughter at home, no homework, obviously, but new characters and stories to discover, paint, cut, listen, see ... And for the contribution of parents in school we decided tell and "represent" the story My daughter's favorite for the whole class.

It was very exciting and beautiful to see how those three-year-olds enjoyed the story, and my daughter showed her mastery of the story, I think she is proud, participating in the story and even asking her friends for silence. In fact, if something I missed is that she participated a little more in our intervention.

The thing is that we wanted it to be a small surprise for her too, that's why we don't involve her. But she wanted to go out with us and make her story too ... So for the next occasion, we are sure she will also intervene.

But, in short, I loved it be in the classroom with all the children, see how they got excited, how they laughed and that face of illusion and discoveries that only at these ages can we appreciate.

The story went quite well, although sometimes the emotions overflowed. Like when a "daring" a little daring scared some child (but it was quickly solved, you just had to take off a mask) or when the "stars" of the story, small goldfish cut out of paper caused a furor and the class got upset .

Come on, normal in children of these ages and nothing that with a bit of improvisation and calm can be fixed.

In short, despite the effort (we made almost all the accessories, including an astronaut scuba, manually) the result was great. And although I think my fingers still hurt from trimming fish and snowflakes, I would do it again without hesitation.

So that I encourage you to participate in the children's school activities, ask teachers if they do not, because it is very positive for both the relationship with our children and teachers and a way to get involved with what the child does, learns and plays in school, from very young .
