Rules for a party

A few days ago my son's best friend celebrated his birthday with former schoolmates. Seeing some conflicts that were repeated in other parties to which they had gone, such as that a less skilled child was removed, the girls were not allowed to play the ball or they made cruel teasing or even a hand was released, the mother decided that it was convenient to expose clearly party rules.

Being a person convinced that children, with clear limits, are able to develop their relationships without violence, the mother decided to gather the small guests at the beginning of the celebration and read them simple rules for the party.

In this party all children have the right to play, have fun and express themselves freely. All games are allowed as long as they are not dangerous and you can ask me when you have any questions and I will leave what I am doing to accompany you or advise you. Everyone has equal rights and no one, because of age, ability or sex, will be discriminated against. Everyone has the right to play, and if they do not know or are less experienced, they will be equally welcome and others will help them to enjoy. It is not allowed to hit, insult, tease or despise any child. Nor is it allowed to make anyone angry, or use motes that disturb the recipient, or push anyone. Parents must also follow these rules and cannot shout, insult, shake, threaten or humiliate their children. In this party there are no punishments, only consequences, so if any rule is not met the offender must leave the party.

At first everyone was speechless, but soon began to applaud. The children themselves, who arrived behind, accompanied them to see the mother, telling them that they had to know the rules of the party, because, as one of the little guests said: "They are very good rules and we will all be safe and happy with them. "

The party was a success and the children's behavior amazed their own parents, because everyone understood that, within party rules, which gave them all the same rights and great security, could be free and respectful of each other. What do you think of the idea?
