VW Dark Side: Greenpeace campaign with children as activists

Greenpeace surprised us recently with a hilarious campaign that sought to get the company that manufactures the famous Barbie to take more care of the origin of the cardboard of its packaging, and did it, with the news that Ken cut with the wrist for his practices trade against protected forests. Now again, Greenpeace presents another campaign in which children become their allies again: VW Dark Side.

According to the NGO, the Volkswagen is a key member of the Association of European Car Builders and wants to prevent this organization from ceasing to pressure so that the reduction of greenhouse gases is not ordered considerably in Europe. How to get it? Putting children and all of us who keep some children on their side and in passing, winning children as young environmental pollution activists.

Many times the use of children in advertising is in bad taste, but other times, as now, it is ingenious and full of good intentions. First, they do not sell anything, but they try to create an ecological conscience in which, by fighting through words and mobilization, things are changed. And teach our children that take care of the planet It is much more than recycling the cardboard or closing the tap when brushing my teeth seems indispensable. Second, they do it without presenting them in a sexist or violent or simply consumerist environment, and I like that too.

I loved this campaign in which Greenpeace titled VW Dark Side that wins children as activists and he proposes to them and the Star Wars fans to be their allies. An excellent way to remove consciences and educate in ecology. Do you and your children like it?
