Highlights in Babies and more: August 15-21

Like every start of the week, today it's time to review the most outstanding contents we have published in Babies and more last week.

We have two specials underway. In the first one, Summer with children, we have given advice on the high temperatures and some last safety advice to be taken into account in summer.

On the other hand, in the special one dedicated to Beauty and Health of the pregnant woman, we have talked about pregnancy and muscle toning and dark spots on the skin of the pregnant woman, called chloasma.

We also continue listing the ten most controversial parenting practices. Last week we dedicated ourselves to the diaper operation and prolonged breastfeeding, about which we published a post claim, which will continue this week, defending our prolonged breastfeeding.

As for current news, we have commented on the withdrawal of more than thirty toys to make bubbles and something that has been unusual for us: that a family that charges 238,000 euros per year will receive a daycare grant.

We have also commented that the number of abortions in Spain could be decreasing and we have seen a very funny video about the incredible struggle for food between an animal and a human.

We knew the baby names that are most used in the Basque Country and a great Mallorcan initiative to go to the movies with babies and children.

We talk about two recent studies. One who claims that drinking mate in pregnancy can affect the health of the baby and another who claims that non-alcoholic beer increases the antioxidant capacity of breast milk.

Now that there are few weeks left to return to the classroom, we chronicled the first school year, whose first part we had published the previous week.

We have also talked about a very common disorder but that is usually temporary among children, nervous tics in children, we have shown you a giant teddy bear for the children's room, and to finish the week we have shown you some beautiful images of the Pregnant guts painted by Danish artists.

This week, many more interesting things in Babies and more.
