To be a mom 2.0 you have to have a smartphone. Modern moms have discovered the advantages of smartphones or smartphones to keep their families connected, organized and safe, according to a study that analyzes the use (and dependence) of these mobile devices by mothers.
In particular, more than 500 mothers were asked about the use they gave to mobile phones, and 28.7% of them said that would not do without your smartphone for a day, even if you were paid (or in exchange for a spa session, new clothes or shoes or a dinner at your favorite restaurant).
More than 52% of these mothers use the smartphone during the first five minutes of the day after getting up (I imagine they will set the alarm a little before raising the children, or that they have plenty of time ...), and at night the number of those who use the smartphone minutes before going to sleep amounts to 78%.
Anyway, taking into account that behind this study is Life 2360º, a company aimed at the safety of families through a mobile application (free only in part), and that the survey was conducted among its users, it was left out to so many mothers who still dispense with this device ...
In addition, it is not very clear if the mothers were asked about any use of the mobile (which has nothing to do with organization, security or family connection, as indicated in their infographic), such as checking the mail or playing, which It would give similar results for men. In this sense, the data they offer is that after communication, security and protection were the most common uses of the smartphone.
Nor would they be asked about other ways of organizing at home more traditional, such as pencil and paper, or simply the head and the ability to plan and order that is usually enhanced after being mothers.
We do know that 44% of the respondents indicated that they verify where their family members are via mobile phones (via call, via GPS or applications intended for that purpose). And that 56% of those who buy smartphones from their children do so for security and protection reasons.
In any case, it is clear that smartphones are increasingly part of our lives, we are parents or children ... so that the moms could not be left out, and each one will give a different use. My perception is that, in relation to children, we mostly use them to entertain them.
