Vegetables with the highest pesticide load

Many families consider buying organic, despite its somewhat higher price, the vegetables they consume, especially to avoid pesticides. For that reason it is interesting to know those vegetables that have a higher pesticide load when you reach the market and value, then, which is more interesting to buy.

Despite washing and peeling the fruits there are still chemical components that cannot be eliminated and to know which vegetables are the ones with the greatest pesticide load, this list is interesting.

The list I offer has been made by the "EWG's Shopper's Guide to Pesticides", and analyzed the 50 most consumed vegetables in the United States. In spite of being some tests carried out in that country I think that they can be of great interest also for Spanish consumers waiting to be able to have a direct study of what is offered to us in Spain.

The conclusion is that, within which it is advised to increase, in general, the consumption of vegetables organic, those with the highest percentage of pesticides contain They are apples, celery and strawberries. I would add to the shopping list the vegetables that we usually consume at home, especially potatoes or lettuce.
