Highlights in Babies and more: from May 28 to June 3

Like every Monday, we review the most outstanding contents we have published in Babies and more during the last week.

Continuing with our series of posts about postpartum depressionWe have deepened this week on how postpartum depression affects the mother's environment, who also need guidelines to address the problem.

We've also talked about a phenomenon that looks like science fiction but it's real: the strange case of stone babies.

In our Maternity and Paternity Course the central theme of this week has been the self esteem, an essential value for the happy development of the child.

We have talked about the first stone to build children's self-esteem, children's self-esteem: attachment and limits, the importance of play in children's self-esteem and the importance of valuing talents and effort.

From the expert's hand Javier EnrichWe have answered all the questions about the new Domestic Employees Law, everything you should know if you have a caretaker at home.

On BreastfeedingWe have known a study on the feeding of newborns and their weight loss, according to which breastfed newborns have no major weight loss.

We have reflected on why hitting children is a bad business (for children). A priori it seems an effective solution (for parents), but it is of no use and it can become counterproductive and harmful.

We have also talked about how to deal with the situation of children who harm animals and why and how to act if the child has an imaginary friend.

As for unusual news we have commented on the case of the baby that was born in the tail of unemployment and will be called "Inem", another example of the bad taste of some parents.

Finally, we have talked about grandparents, loving and dedicated figures that contribute to the emotional development of the child. We have developed the perfect grandfather's decalogue with the ten qualities and behaviors that must have ideal grandparents.

And finally, an easy and creative craft that children will fully enjoy: how to turn a 20-kilo bucket into a swing.

This week, many more interesting things.
