Twoolies, beautiful handmade wool dolls

I have fallen in love with the color and textures of these lovely handmade wool dolls called Twoolies. I have run into them by chance and I have not been able to avoid showing them to you.

They were designed by the architect and interior designer Sindy Posso with Mayan artists, and are woven with 100% natural wool on handlooms by Mayan communities in the highlands of southern Mexico. I loved them because they manage to combine the essence of the modern with the native ancestral art of the Mayan weavers.

Each doll is completely exclusive, no two are the same, because it has a unique combination of textures, colors and patterns. Look at this lion and this nice couple of peacocks.

They are only available in a few countries: United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Japan, but perhaps there are some that make international shipments in the list of distributors.

I loved them because they are very beautiful and because of the concept of combining modernity and native art. Do you like them?
