Today we bring you a craft you can do with your children to prepare your own birthday party, or that of dad or mom, or that of your little brother ... The idea that I have seen in Icing Designs, a blog with crafts and tips for decorating parties, is to make some paper candles with drinking straws. These candles can be used to decorate cupcakes or cakes.
What better to decorate a children's birthday party what with candles? This project is very easy to do and you will do it just as well (or better) than you!
Necessary material
- Paper straws, the colors and drawings that best fit you for your party
- Glue
- Yellow tissue paper
- Colored edible confetti (optional)
How to make paper candles
- We cut the straws in half.
- We cut the tissue paper into squares of about 7x7 cm (3x3 inches). You can paint the edges of the paper with glitter to give the flame an extra light effect.
- We take the center of the paper and roll and sink it to look like the flame of a candle.
- We put a little paste on the tip of the straw and introduce the paper flame.
- We already have our paper candle made !!
