Summary of the week from August 29 to September 4 in Peques y Más

For what not everything be preparations for the 'back to school', back to the routine and schedule planning, in Peques and Más we have agreed these days of a date set for Japanese comic book fans, and especially for parents who met Mazinger Z in their childhood, because this year 40 years have passed since the creation of this character that quickly went from the pages of a comic to the television screen in the seventies.

And if in Spain We started to meet Japanese cartoonists thanks to Mazinger (and its creator Go Nagai), today the representation of icons that come from the Japanese country is quite abundant, so we have also made a place for a series that many of our children follow, it is Doraemon, that nice robot that comes from the future to try to change the present of Nobita, do you sound? We have also collected another news related to the world of animation, because coinciding with the premiere of Tadeo Jones, the contest of Iberia and Coca Cola has the collaboration of the protagonist of the most current children's film.

For our readers to be informed about health issues that allow them to make sound decisions, every week we publish various articles that are sure to be useful to more than one. For example, we have continued talking about children's dream, and more specifically about the disorders that can occur in children. They have also occupied a prominent place in our blog, headaches, which pose a serious health problem for children. And to end the section, you may have liked to know our readers if minors can exercise their right to consent to diagnoses or treatments; or that marijuana use damages teenagers' intelligence.

Of course we do not forget (or want to ignore at this point) that we are already immersed in the return to the classroom, although not all children are in school, and this is why we give some clues about 'the things parents need to educate their children at home'. And for those who do take their children to school, a very encouraging news: because from the University of Extremadura they have discovered that cooperative learning reduces bullying behaviors, perhaps schools can consider how to facilitate this type of relationship to the students. And would you like to know what ethically committed teachers are like?

In the section dedicated to leisure, we have thought about building a ferris wheel made with cardboard for the children, and also in taking advantage of our free time as parents attending this Workshop on Children's Dream that is celebrated in Malaga.

We really liked these superheroes who visit children in the hospital (in the same way that clowns do in Spain, for example); and meet Birdy who has published his first album with only 16 years.

While the next seven days pass, I leave you with a game for the iPhone / iPad, it's about Scribblenauts Remix, and it helps children learn the cause - effect relationship. I say goodbye until next Wednesday, and I wish all your children a 'back to school' as pleasant as possible.
