The movie Cars has been released for years and not so many that we could see the second part (much worse, in my opinion), but there are many, many, children passionate about the experiences of Rayo McQueen or directly for their merchandising, because in a single car character and toy are combined.
Imagine what face they would make if they suddenly found themselves in the street at a Lightning McQueen in real size and circulating through our streets. Well, I will not tell you that it is impossible because it is not, especially if you live in Badajoz, where Rafael Galindo, a handyman of the cars, has transformed a Huyndai Coupé into a replica of the well-known Lightning McQueen.
Galindo owns a sheet metal and paint business and the motivation to do such work is none other than his four-year-old son, a diehard fan of the movie Cars. Neither short nor lazy, and knowing that his father worked with cars, the boy asked for a "Car". That request became a challenge for Rafael Galindo and he began to think about how to do it.
He looked for cars that could resemble the popular protagonist of Pixar's car movies and found that the most similar (without having to donate a kidney to get it) was a hyundai, to which he had to add, among other things, a large rear wing to help him assimilate to McQueen.
When decorating, he decided to change Rust-eze by Raf-fael and the number 95 for 94, which is the year in which he opened his workshop, which does not detract from charm as you could see in the video. Now, according to the artist, he intends to recreate Mate, Lightning McQueen's best friend.
