We are in the midst of communion, and while most children receive gifts such as game consoles, tablets or iPads, Iñaki is a nine-year-old boy from Granada who thought he didn't need any of those things, and He decided to donate the money he raised for his communion to help teenagers with cancer.
The story was shared by the judge of minors in Granada, Emilio Calatayud, in his blog, after having been very critical in previous years with the celebration of communions, and in what they have become, practically in mini weddings.
Iñaki made communion last Saturday and has donated 1,030 euros which raised the Association Relay for Life against Youth Cancer, an association that organizes recreational and sports activities with the objective of raising awareness about the importance of adopting cancer prevention measures among the youth group.
The donation will result in the acquisition of a PlayStation 4 and virtual reality glasses so that Children and adolescents who are on cancer treatment can be entertained.
