Resolution of mobile speed problems and use of mathematical reasoning

I loved the work of Juan Garcia Moreno, a Rus Primary Education teacher, in Jaén. He is a specialist in Mathematics and is especially interested in the teaching of Mathematics and in the development of interactive and multimedia educational content. His main practice is the development of flash materials that has also been recognized by the Junta de Andalucía and has been awarded several times.

Juan's work, which keeps him updated and available on his blog, allows access to resources that integrate ICTs with mathematics. In this fantastic work, which says he has not had an award this year 2013, Juan allows the kids in the third grade can learn, practice and solve mobile speed problems.

Again we see tools that can be used in the classroom by teachers as a very valuable resource. Juan explains that it can be projected with the digital board, and also can be used by students at home by reviewing the contents of the blog and accessing teacher resources.

The great challenge that arises with these resources is how do you have to do the class in the classroom because it seems that it is no longer enough to explain the theory and make problems. These facilities help children to set ideas, understand problems, give them context and be able to explain it to their classmates at school, at home or with Skype.
