At the beginning of February, Safe Internet Day was celebrated, and a large security company in the network launched the message that frequently, children are just a few clicks away from viewing adult content (and inappropriate for your age) on You Tube.
A few weeks later, I agreed with a colleague who told me how she discovered that her teenage children access videos in which they execute people (these things happen on the same planet we live in, only that we are not always aware). I was very impressed, because even with 14 years, a recording of such characteristics can affect a person (after all they are still developing in every way). The responsible for this information is the well-known company Karspersky Lab, its professionals ensure that frequently music videos that offer violence, weapons and nudity, or car accident compilations are visible along with other clips with episodes of Peppa Pig, Rastamouse and Dora the explorer.
At present it is a risk to let children navigate without supervision, or failing that, without parental control that filters content. We all know that You Tube's security mode can block pornographic material and unpleasant comments, although the device is not 100% secure.
David Emm is a security researcher at Kaspersky Lab, he is worried about how easy it is for children to access videos aimed exclusively at adults. And, no one doubts the ease with which the children use new technologies, but protection is a matter of the adults who are in charge of them.

SupervisionIt may seem obvious, although we don't always do it. We can show children the sites we are familiar with, check browsing history, and bother to find out about password protected sites they may be accessing.
Be open, about what they are doing online and who they are socializing with. Promote a culture of safety inside the house and talk about the possible dangers that exist.
Protect children, using the parental control contained in the security products, on websites that we do not want our child to watch.
Finally, I want to contribute that in my opinion, Not only certain content aimed at adults is inappropriate for children. Recently my son wanted to put a video recommended by some friends and starring the Marvel superheroes ... I didn't let him finish: the image of one of them on the ground while the others were grinding him without kicking (and without stopping) It resulted from extreme violence, and I think it is unnecessary for young children to access this image and others like that.
Apparently it is a video for children, however it moves away from what I would like for my children, I know how children think because I have also been a child, and I know the sense of confusion that certain images can take. So be careful what our children see on the Internet, because they are small people in development, and some of the contents to which they can potentially be exposed, can harm them or affect them in some other way.
