Philips presents its new innovative, stimulating and dynamic products designed for children and the result of a great alliance with Disney. The goal is to combine the experience of Philips in the world of lighting with Disney characters and get rooms for kids full of imagination in which to read, play and rest. The alliance constitutes the last step of Philips in its task of transforming domestic lighting into a digital experience.
As our Decoesfera partners explain, it is not just about lamps but also includes options for connectivity that give life to Disney characters using lighting. With Philips technology, the magic of color is introduced in children's rooms and it is especially possible to make the moment of telling stories a very special interactive experience.
Of course Philips takes into account the security requirements both in the construction of each product and in the materials used. All products have prices from 10 euros to 60 euros, will share brand development and will be marketed through various complementary retail channels of Philips and Disney worldwide.
The Philips-Disney range includes revolutionary ideas in connected lighting which allows children to interact with Disney stories and characters. For example, children and their parents can link lighting and e-books to interactively create a magical experience that makes reading more fun and encourages full immersion of families in stories. The range also includes quitamiedo lights, night lights with a soft light emission and products designed to provide children with a regular sleep pattern indicating when they have to get up.
The products that will include the new Philips-Disney 2013 range are:
- Disney Bloom which is connected to an e-book to interactively create environments that favor children's reading experience. The system is called A Friend of Hue and connects seamlessly with Philips Hue, Philips smart LED lighting system, in which the lamps can be controlled through any mobile device that has iOS.
- Philips Sleep Light, night light with Mickey and Minnie that lights a light moon in the tripita during bedtime and that becomes a sun at the time that parents want the child to rise.
- Philips Soft Light Portable, are soft and achuchables soft light laptops with Mike and Sulley of Monsters University and with Mickey and Minnie. They are perfect to play in bed for a little while before bedtime.
- Philips LED Candle Light, are LED candles decorated with Disney Princesses, Mickey and Minnie. They are completely safe and turn off and on just by turning them around when children want.
- Philips LivingColors Micro with atmosphere of Cars, Airplanes and the Little Mermaid.
