Caring for your baby's skin is very important

Babies have dry skin because they do not secrete enough fat, that is why we must hydrate it daily. Babies' skin is thin and fragile and for this reason they may suffer irritations, either due to excess moisture or dryness, taking care of your baby's skin is very important.

If you bathe your baby, do not prolong the bath more than ten minutes and try to dry it very well. If you see flaking appear, add moisturizing oil to the water you use to bathe it.

The most delicate areas, such as the chin or the culete, which are more prone to be wet, and where folds form, is where more hydration is required. Often when we apply cream, we do not usually think about the areas that need it most, in the case of folds, it is where more dirt accumulates and where more irritations appear. When we apply cream, we must keep in mind the skin that is behind the ears, it is thin and prone to flaking, so it must be hydrated frequently. The instep is another area that requires a lot of hydration and usually goes unnoticed.

Being scrupulous with the hygiene that surrounds the diaper prevents the baby from stinging, do not hesitate to clean your baby with soap and water when it becomes dirty and try to dry the area very well before applying the cream.

If you suffer from diaper rash, it is very good to leave the culete in the air for a while. Following all these tips is tremendously favorable for your baby's skin.
