How do you celebrate Mother's Day?

Next Sunday is celebrated on Mother's Day in Spain, also in Portugal, South Africa, Lithuania and Hungary. In most countries of the world it is celebrated on the second Sunday of May and on many other different days throughout the month of May. In the remaining ones, it is celebrated at other times of the year.

Each country has its own customs, but throughout the world Mother's Day is a very significant holiday. That day we mothers celebrate with our children the joy of motherhood, with everything she represents.

Each family celebrates it in their own way and in each house there are particular situations. Some women will live with great emotion their first day of the mother, or pregnant, or with one more baby in the family (as is my case), while others will celebrate it with their children for another year.

And you, How do you celebrate Mother's Day? We would like to know through the comments what a perfect day would be like for you, what details move you, where you celebrate it, what you would like yours to do for you. Definitely, what your ideal Mother's Day would be like.

I tell you mine. My ideal Mother's Day begins with many kisses to wake me up and then breakfast in bed. But it is not funny if it is not shared, so surely we will end up having breakfast all together in bed. The crumb sheets are filled, but I love it.

Keep the gifts, but not from those bought in a store, but those made by my daughters with enthusiasm and love with their own hands. I keep them and I will keep them all my life. As useless as they may seem to me they make me happier than an imported perfume or a branded bag.

This year they have not escaped telling me the surprise they have prepared for me (yet), although I have already imagined it because of the clues they have given me. The children are so fresh that they have trouble keeping an innocent secret. Anyway, I will put my best face of surprise and I will snatch them until I squeeze them to thank them for the gifts.

Of the little girl, who will do the seven months, I do not expect a handmade gift, obviously. But his smiling face and morning laughs will spare me to carry my day of happiness.

The plan for the rest of the day is very simple. For me there is no better place to celebrate "my" day than in "my" house surrounded by "my" family. Crowded shopping centers and restaurant. Of course, my husband takes care of the food (he makes great barbecues) because after all that day the queen is me.

I'd like to celebrate it with my mother, but it's far, so Mother's Day celebration it will be reduced to my own family, that is, my husband and my three daughters. In short, those who have made it possible for Sunday and the rest of the days of the year to celebrate the wonderful experience of being a mother.
