Thanks to Activision and to Skylanders we have been able to participate in a fun day in the Madrid Zoo sharing experiences with other parents and their sons / daughters. Although all the merit seems to me that it corresponds to the monitors who were very generous in their explanations and worked very hard to show us the animals from another point of view. And they let us see, and some children participated, how they fed the animals by opening the spaces in which they are habitually or leaving us, with all the security measures, to see how they ate in their space.
In the image you can see Achilles, one of the lizards that are in the area of the mysterious nature and that surprised by its tremendous speed following the food that the monitor showed him held in tweezers. In the image, obtained by the digital camera (that is, impossible to guess what you want to portray), you can see how it jumps to reach the food after a surprising race on the carpet. And there were many more animals, for example, we saw the chameleon in action throwing his tongue out to capture a grasshopper that was zamp for breakfast, and another reptile fed by the girl in the image by bringing the food with tweezers.
One of the shows we could see live was the snake of the image to which a rat was approached, previously dead, and for which it was launched so, as they explained to us, to inoculate the poison and then eat it. We saw the part of the poison, that of eating it, I didn't feel like seeing it because it literally swallows it whole.
Outside the space of nature we could also see how they fed a pair of alligators that share the space with another pair of turtles. It seems that, despite appearances, turtles dominate the space and are able to feed before alligators. Still still we saw alligators eat and the truth is that it was spectacular the jump they gave to eat the food while they opened their mouths, closed it and swallowed breakfast in their jaws.
Before going to see the lemurs we were also with the parrots, here they left us a small container full of nectar and the parrots came flying and perched on our hands to devour all the content. While we were holding the cup we took the opportunity to be photographed and we took, at the end of the day, our beautiful photo sharing, father and daughter, how we gave the food to the parrots.
Of all the animals we saw closely, very close, the Lemur was one of the friendliest and most entertaining and what kids liked best. Our monitor Sergio prepared a fruit skewer: apple and banana, and for them they launched a few inches from the parents and children that we were at the event. Until the female lemur arrived and threw everyone out and she stayed with the booty. How interesting nature, how to choose who should dominate to ensure the survival of the species.
Before we went to see the lemurs we were watching the Aquarium in which again the turtles had their share of power despite the sharks that live there. In the aquarium we could not interact with the animals although I really liked seeing them through the glass I also recommend shop around the upper access and see how the pyramid allows access to natural light, giving animals access to the sun and moon so important in their life cycles. Also from above you can see the silhouettes of sharks and that, since the time of Spielberg, gives a lot of respect.
To end the experience of SkylandersZoo I leave other images in which you can see how the children had a great time playing, a few days before it goes on sale, to the game Skylanders Swapforce.
And since everything was not video games, there were also activities to color templates with the characters SwapForce and a great artist who painted his face to some girls like the ones seen in the picture, with many details and water paintings that are easy to clean.

Finally I want thank Activision and the Zoo how well they treated us, how well organized the day was, the generosity of the monitors with their explanations and the magnificent attention they gave to all families, always being very aware that we had a great time and we were not missing anything. I am sure that the children will not forget it and that they will surely take advantage of the interesting workshops proposed by the Madrid Zoo.
