Life in Tales: classification of children's stories about everyday situations

Children's books are a great tool to help children overcome conflicts or circumstances of everyday life, from leaving the diaper, the pacifier to face a move, separation from parents, or the death of a loved one. Throughout the story, the child feels identified with the protagonist of the story, which helps him to better understand the situation and express feelings.

Violeta, psychologist, anthropologist and mother, has decided to create Life in stories, a website where we can find a classification of children's stories about everyday situations sorted by themes.

Currently, there are six thematic areas: "difficult situations", "emotions", "first relationships", "getting older", "diverse families" and "feeling different".

Within each, in turn, we can find subcategories, such as "Emotions": jealousy, loneliness and sadness, anger, fear, love and sexuality. Upon entering, a series of children's stories appear with a brief description, characteristics and age at which each one is addressed. Each one also has a direct link to Amazon in case we want to buy it.

Of course, it is a very useful resource for parents who sometimes need help to address certain issues that concern us.
